Unlike Tim Scott's assertion; mine are directed straight at Mr. Scott, maybe you can add: Perjury, Obstruction of Justice, Violation of Civil Rights and more to the list.
Aside: if Rfields thinks my tune is getting old, article said: T. O. was convicted in 1995. That pre-dates my "saga" by five years. |

Keith, at first I missed the ref. on your post; as your post "Steamboat Days and photography" ( on, General Discussion 6/15/07 ) was covered before I seen it...Could the City be putting testosterone in the water system?

RE: Burlington Police Department Supplemental Narrative. By Lt. Darren Grimshaw
I cringe every time I read about a case involving him, in the paper. This is what Burlington taxpayers get for $50,000 plus a year? What a poor excuse for a public servant; the City could hire some residents from the nursing homes for half that amount. I mean no disrespect to the residents of nursing homes, after all the ones with memory loss, is real and they came by it “HONESTLY”; unlike the Wormy Weasel.
I figured surely by now he would be under 24-hour supervision; requiring complete custodial care due to his accelerated loss of memory, if it deteriorated as much as it did from the time of my arrest, to the time of my trial 9 months and 3 days later. Of course I shouldn’t have been surprised after all with just the amount of memory loss from the time of the incident on 7/14/00 @ 5:10 p.m. till the time of “BPD Supplemental Narrative” 7/17/00 @ 2:09 p.m. .
AND I’m being “VERY CHARITABLE” to call “IT” a fine example of creative writing. [At my trial] he used the old Reagan/ Gonzalez and Fuhrman defense “I don’t remember/recall” [background: Mark Fuhrman was lead detective on O.J. Simpson case, after several days of being prepped by prosecutors, when questioned by F. Lee Bailey, Fuhrman could not recall even one question that was asked by the prosecutors.]
I can even understand why Scott and Skogen lied, (to cover their ass) [There’s “a distinct possibility” I might have mentioned their names elsewhere.] BUT I can’t understand the Wormy Weasel’s reasoning. I wonder if it’s remnants of being a Blue-Light Special associate or a used car salesman.
I know he has few racing buddies; don’t take my word for it, look him in the eye and ask him about it, see if his memory has improved any.

Q: Did you tap me on the shoulder two or three times and ask “what’s was going on?” [ See related sidebar]
A: “I don’t remember.”
Q: Getting no reply from me did you then identify yourself as a Police officer? And said break it up, and I answered oh, ok.
A: “I don’t remember.”
Q: Did Tim Scott immediately after getting up from the flower bed, that he was lying in, say to you ARREST HIM, ARREST HIM, two or three times?
A: “I don’t remember.”
Q: Did I look you over from head to toe as you were in street clothes and you must have guessed what I was thinking, and said you were off duty.
A: “I don’t remember.”
Q: Did you ask me what the deal was? And I answered it’s a long story and you answered “Give me the short version” and I started telling you when two other police cars came you told me to stand-by? And left to hear THE MAYOR’S VERSION.
A: “I don’t remember.”
AND THAT WAS THE END OF “ANY” FACT FINDING, “TILL” I’M ON MY WAY TO JAIL!
Related sidebar: Mr. Scott laying flat on his back in the flower bed (shrubbery), I was on my knees trying to pound the piss out of him, I thought it was rather apparent that I was trying to kill the son of a bitch; especially to the trained eye of a professional. [Note: Insert sarcasm here] That’s why I didn’t answer Grimshaw when he asked “What’s going on.”
Scott on the witness stand, in the persona of a macho/big man: (voice/character) contrast with "whiney 5 yr. old" [maybe Mr. Scott missed his calling as a Thespian] testifying about releasing his hold. What hold, I’m not aware of, sure the hell wasn’t any hold on me, possibly the family jewels? [his]
My attorney (ex) asked what I wanted from the case or take for me to settle/plea bargain, etc.
Me: If he (Scott) put a bullet through his head, and I wouldn’t quibble over the direction, front to back, left to right, right to left. . . He said: “DON’T BE SAYING THAT SHIT!”
Well that’s the way I felt then and that’s the way I still feel.
